Seachem Prime

Description

Prime® removes chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals out of tap water.
Prime® also safely detoxifies ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
Prime is therefore an excellent aid during tank cycling and the early addition of fish.
It is non-acidic and will not impact pH and will not overactivate skimmers.
Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.

Directions

Use 1 capful (5 ml) for each 200L of new water. Each cap thread is approximately 1 ml. Treat new tap water before topping up aquarium. Otherwise, if adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume. Double Prime dose with high concentrations of Chloramine. Overdosing with Prime will not affect water chemistry. To detoxify high nitrite, up to 5 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is > 30 °C (86 °F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.
